Forward-Deployed AI EngineerYou will use our own platform to build customized AI-native workflow automations for customers. You'll use tools like NextJS, various LLMs, and our set of APIs to directly address customer problems. You will interface directly with these customers, and actively iterate the solution with them over the course of several days. We bring you PMF from day one, and you execute on building the solution out from scratch.
Excel at clearly articulating deeply technical topics.
Understand customer pain as if it were your own.
AI-native tools and workflow building.
Experience building full-stack tools using NextJS and Python.
Scaling infrastructure with Kubernetes and Terraform.
The type of person who excels in this role is usually an aspirational founder. Someone who can empathize with customer problems, understand requirements from the customer, clearly communicate those to the rest of our team, yet also build out MVPs usable by the customer directly in a matter of days. You'll thrive as a self-motivated learner. We're not afraid to bet on talent early - you won't find us asking you for the school you went to or anything of the sort on the application. We get along with most folks fairly well, so our filter there is just that we can enjoy a beverage of choice together after work on occasion!
As a Forward-Deployed Engineer, a large portion of your time will be on-site with customers. We think the upper bound of this is around 50% of each month - though it will frequently be much less month to month. As an added bonus for taking on this role, we allow reimbursement of flights on a personal card so that you can collect points, earn status, and so on.
